Hi, I’m Debra. I’m a biscotti baker living in Show Low, AZ. My business is licensed and insured. I love distinctive flavors, regional cooking and sharing with others. I own Bake Me Happier, an Cottage Foods bakery specializing in biscotti. Our flavors are not like any you’ve had in biscotti before. Bake Me Happier specializes in unique creations, like Mexican Choco Loco and NM True Blue Corn. We also offer more traditional biscotti, like our Classic Almond and Cranberry Craze.

Even though Bake Me Happier offers some distinctive, non-traditional flavors our biscotti are made in the traditional way. Every loaf is hand rolled, hand sliced and baked twice to create the crispy cookies you’re hoping for.

The wonderful thing we want all people to know is that fresh packed, handmade biscotti is delicious! It’s not like biscotti you buy at a grocery store or big-box coffee shop.

 

In fact, the responses from my customers inspired me to start my small-batch bakery! People sample my biscotti and their faces break out in smiles. Their eyes get big and they say, “Wow! That’s really good!” Then they run to find their mom or text their partner or BFF, so they can taste it, too! That’s what it’s about. Giving people that WOW experience.

When Bake Me Happier started out, I shared with some friends that, as a kid, I was enamored by my grandma’s Kitchen Aid mixer. I told them I’ve always felt I’ll know I hit the big time when I have a stand mixer. A few days later, they surprised me with the gift of – you know it! – a Kitchen Aid mixer!

Since Bake Me Happier started, I’ve participated in the local Farmer’s Markets and holiday craft fairs. I sell biscotti online and ship across the country. My biscotti are carried in a local coffee shop and gift store, I participated in the national SW Chocolate and Coffee Fest 2023 and am an approved business in Show Low, AZ.

Bake Me Happier has come a long way in 4 years. But there’s more to me that you should know. I’m also a nurse and a wife. I’m fascinated with nutrition and healthy eating, so I use only the best ingredients. And my husband, Steven, plays a big part in the business. I tell people he’s my shipping agent and quality control manager. Without his support, Bake Me Happier wouldn’t be here. Hats off to Steven!
